Sweet Symphony Wide Scallop Mini Album Hello All, Kelly here with my very first post. I hope I get it all just right, but if I don’t please comment and let me know! I don’t know about you, but I love the minis. They are my favorite project to work on…primarily because I can capture an event or a trip in a small package. I often use them as part of my seasonal décor. It’s fun to trot out a themed mini on my coffee table because friends and family pick it up to skip through it. So for today’s project, I’m using the  wide scallop album , which is such an adorable size! Since the album measures 3x8 inches, an 8x8 pad is just perfect for this project. I had saved this one for just the right project. So, I started by finding alternating pages with blush and black, I love that layered look in the waterfall of the scallop. I then traced and cut the bases with my trusty Fiskars and cutter bee scissors. Then once I have my pages cut, I plan and play with them before gluing. This is work at a...

Box of crafty goodness from ClearScraps!

Hello All! I'm back to show off the goodies I received in my ClearScraps guest designer box. I have to create at least one project each month from March until June.  I honestly wasn't sure what Susan would send other than a mini album or two, since she noticed that those are my go to...And yay, there were two included in my kit: I got a wide scallop mini plus a mixed acrylic and chipboard "Cutie" album. I had a thought about my craft club in Ocean Pines that we always leave a small spiral out for people to sign in but don't really call attention to it. I was wondering about ...

Starting a new blog

Well, blogosphere, it's been a while! And it's strange to me that I haven't embraced this medium for some time since I do enjoy writing. While I used to use those skills in public relations and marketing, newly retired I don't have the outlets I once did. Crafting will once again be my source material. Or my life in and around crafting. Through crafting. All sorts of prepositions can be employed. My husband would probably suggest life under crafting since it sometimes takes over my life 😬. I'm sure no crafter could relate.  I saw this sign on Instagram and it spoke to me... I laughed out loud. All the way. It might be described as a guffaw. I think that's it for the first post. I'm heading out of town for a few days, but I intend to check back in with a project next week. Happy crafting!
